Should I give him a present?
I have a crush on a guy, we spoke twice and the third time, he gave me a music cd completely out of the blue, also offered to help me in my thesis, borrow me law books and offered me to travel with him and his group of friends.
He obviously likes me and I like him back, So as a thank you gesture I invited him to get a snack with me after work, I said I would like to pay for us both, but he said, he’s a gentleman and no way I’m gonna pay for him, that he actually also wants to pay my share.
SO I’m feeling bad, that he’s all the time giving me things and asking for nothing in return.
Would it be ok if I give him a present which is a cd with new york jazz music? since NY is his fav city in the world?
Or would it be bad to copy his idea (remember he also bought me a cd, but he “stole” my idea of the snack) if not, what could I give him that’s not too expensive and makes me look thankfull and interested, but not desperate and obvious?
