I filed for divorce because my wife was using me just to obtain a green card?
2 months after I filed for the divorce ,she filed for a 209 restraining order to get a green card through abuse which is a law that gives any spouse married to a citizen a green card .she made up lies and drama ,and the judge was happy to grant her a 1 year restaining order against me .I have a good moral ,I’m a criminal law student ,I have no criminal record ,and I loved my wife just for her to ruin my life for a green card .thanks for flashing my education ,and reputation down the toilette .my question is ,why in God’s name can a judge grant a person a restarining order without any evidence ,or at least an investigation ?are we men all Evil in the eye of the judicial system?
My husband went through the same thing in Australia with a canadian woman. (Before meeting me of course! lol)
She actually asked him if she could put a restraining order on him so she could be granted residency. He of course refused, she even tried to tell him it wouldn’t mean anything, except of course a huge black mark against him!! Stupid woman!!
I met my husband and after sometime moved in with him, we kept receiving mail and phone calls for this woman so I attemtpted to call her to let her know that I was going to start giving out her phone number to any callers. She didn’t answer the phone but 2 days later my husband received a summons, she had stated that he (my husband) had been abusing her non-stop (over a 3 year period) and that he had continued to harrass her even after they had split up!!
All of this was total B.S.!! In court she cried and put on a right show, making my husband seems like such a monster!! The court made my husband agree to an ‘undertaking in court’ that he wouldnt have any further contact with her….she is still living in Australia now …….I hate her for causing so much trouble.
I guess what goes around comes around …I just hope we actually hear about it!!!
Everyone who knows my husband knows that it is all nothing but lies, what can you do? It’s a sad state of affairs when all a woman has to do is put on a show and cry in all the right places, make up lies etc …..its a slap in the face to all women who ARE in violent relationships!
